Well it’s been a fair while since the last blog due to a combination of lack-luster swells and the big move back home to NZ, but it sure is good to be home!
The last few weeks I have been all over the country scouring for quality waves, catching up with old friends, and watching the All Blacks win the World Cup!!! Unfortunately the waves haven’t come to the party entirely, so here are some travel shots from Raglan, Gisborne and Mahia Peninshula in the meantime (while we wait in anticipation for some serious swell). The sequence is of Mount surfer Troy Riley and the water-based image is Luke Ashman sending some spray to the sky on the eastern-most point of New Zealand. I hope you enjoy the images and please keep coming back because the surf is only going to get better as summer approaches and those Tropical Cyclones start to generate off NZ’s North-Eastern coast. Whoooohoooo
